logan & louie

I was never really a dog person, actually I was terrified of them as a child. I had a cat growing up and he was always very bitter because of his old age, but I thought I loved him anyway. Then a couple years ago I acquired a fish and named him Kevin. Kevin was a real trooper, he lived for over 2 years... even though I was a terrible owner and frequently forgot to feed him. After I buried Kevin in my backyard I just figured I wasn't cut out to own a pet. Now I have Louie. I knew having my first dog would be an experiment, especially for me, but what I didn't know was that I could be so close to an animal, let alone a dog. He is the goofiest best friend I have ever had.

My name is Logan and I have a dog named Louie. These are the things that inspire me just like he does.

Today, I was talking to my boyfriend on the way to meet him. While chatting, I told him that i had a rip in my favorite jeans. When he sympathetically apologized, I said “It’s okay, you’re just going to take them off in a minute, anyway.” I forgot my mom was in the car. FML
